What is PP cotton?

PP cotton (polypropylene cotton) is a material that feels and functions like regular cotton, but with better durability and the ability to retain its shape over time. It is specially designed to provide a soft and comfortable sleeping surface, while being hypoallergenic, lightweight, easy to clean and stays fluffy longer than traditional cotton. These properties make it the perfect material for dog beds.

What makes Calmer Bed better than all other beds?

Calmer Bed differs from other pet beds in that we only use soft pp cotton as filling. Many other pet beds use a harder type of filling, which does not make the bed as comfortable at all. We also use more filling in our beds compared to our competitors. Calmer Bed is also designed with a removable and machine washable cover, which makes it easy to keep the bed clean and fresh.

What size should I buy?

We recommend that you measure the length of your pet from nose to tail and then choose a bed that is 20cm larger than that. For example, if your dog is 75cm tall, we recommend that you purchase our XL Calmer Bed which is 100cm in diameter.

How big is the sleeping area on the Calmer Bed?

The lying surface is approximately 20 cm smaller than the diameter of the bed. For example, size M has a diameter of 60 cm and a lying surface of 40 cm. For more information, click here

Can I wash the Calmer Bed in a washing machine?

Yes, Calmer Bed consists of two parts: a removable cover and inner cushions.

The cover can be easily washed in a washing machine at 40 degrees and should then be hung to dry.

We recommend that the inner cushions are only washed when absolutely necessary, for example if your dog has had an accident in the bed. Otherwise, we advise against washing them. If washing is necessary, you should hand wash the inner cushions and make sure they are hung to dry.

How should I dry my CalmBed after washing?

We recommend that you hang dry your Calmer Bed.

What happens if my dog doesn’t like his Calmer Bed?
